Chrishell and Jason's Ex Have an Intense Sit-Down in the "Selling Sunset" Season 7 Trailer
"Selling Sunset" season seven is coming very soon and, of course, the drama is never-ending. Netflix dropped the upcoming season's trailer on Oct. 12, teasing more shade from the Oppenheim Group agents and a surprising sit-down between Jason's ex, Chrishell Stause, and his then-girlfriend, Marie-Lou Nurk, though they've since broken up. That plus a playful rivalry between the "Selling Sunset" cast and their other Oppenheim branch, "Selling the OC," are what viewers can look forward to this season.
"Selling Sunset"'s sixth season premiered on May 19, and shortly afterward, the Netflix staple confirmed its return for another installment.
Back in January 2022, Us Weekly confirmed that the streamer gave the series the green light for seasons six and seven — and reported that the cast were "very excited" for what was to come. Stause then made an official announcement about the show's two-season renewal in June 2022, sharing an Instagram post captioned, "CONGRATS to this fun lovable crazy group! #SellingSunset has been officially renewed for seasons 6&7! Filming on season 6 begins this summer! Love our dysfunctional family! And THANK YOU everyone for watching and for all the love- and even to those that hate watch us, because that's half the fun of the show anyway honestly-ha! 😜😅Thank you! 😉🙏🏼♥️😘."
Since then, Stause tied the knot with musician G Flip in a surprise May ceremony after a year of dating but, according to her, viewers won't get a glimpse at it in season seven of her Netflix show. "I think that it's a balance thing on a show like this, of what to share and what not to share, and I think that it is important that we are open and we shine a light on a love that I think is so beautiful. But that being said, it's also important to keep some things for us," Stause explained to People of excluding footage of her wedding. Though Stause and G Flip's nuptials won't feature in "Selling Sunset," the latter already made their debut in season six.
Season six also saw one of the show's main cast members exit the show. In a May 15 interview, former "Selling Sunset" star Christine Quinn, who did not return for the season and won't be back for the seventh, opened up about the pressure she says was put on her and other women cast members to wear revealing clothes on the show. "There were so many times where I would try to convince the girls, 'You're so much better than this. You don't need to be treated this way. You don't need to wear a bra and show your stomach and your boobs. You don't have to do that,'" she said in an episode of Dear Media's "The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast."
While Quinn likely won't be back in the future, familiar faces from Stause to Bre Tiesi will be returning for more drama. Ahead, here's what we know about "Selling Sunset" season seven.
