If snagging a ticket to see Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in person wasn't in the cards for you, you're in luck. Swift has brought one of the year's hottest tours — which revisits 10 eras and 17 years of her music — to a theater near you!
On Aug. 31, Swift announced via Instagram that a "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" movie would hit theaters in North America before her Eras Tour even ends. "The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I'm overjoyed to tell you that it'll be coming to the big screen soon," the singer wrote alongside the movie's trailer, which features clips of her performing on tour set to the tune of her hit "Cruel Summer." "Starting Oct 13th you'll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America! Tickets are on sale now. Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged 🫶 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk)."
The news gets even better. According to a Sept. 26 movie update, fans everywhere will be able to enjoy one of the most talked-about tours of the year via the big screen. "The tour isn't the only thing we're taking worldwide........ 🌎 Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13!" Swift announced on social media. On Oct. 11, Swift attended the movie's world premiere in Los Angeles and wrote on Instagram, "I can't thank you enough for wanting to see this film that so vividly captures my favorite adventure I've ever been a part of: The Eras Tour. And the best part is, it's an adventure we're still on together." She also announced that the movie would have a preview screening on Thursday, Oct. 12.

Unlike tickets to Swift's in-person Eras Tour concerts, where prices can run into the quadruple digits, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" movie tickets range from $13.13 for kids and seniors to $19.89 for adults (see what she did there?). "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" Movie Setlist
According to the movie's Fandango page, the Eras Tour movie has a runtime of two hours and 48 minutes, which is slightly shorter than Swift's in-person concerts. After the world premiere, fans reported that the setlist had been slightly tweaked, with four songs getting cut. Swift also performs two surprise tracks in the film.

Will the "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" Movie Be Streaming?
Right now, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" is not streaming; the only way to see it is in theaters. However, that doesn't mean the movie won't ever be available on streaming. Billboard reported on Sept. 1 that Swift has the rights to send the movie to streaming services after it's been released in theaters for 13 weeks. The publication reported that no one had bought the streaming rights. In the past, Swift has had concerts and other films stream on both Netflix and Disney+. Plus, during the release of "Midnights" in October 2022, she released an exclusive trailer during Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video. It's possible that "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" will ultimately end up on any of those streamers.
